Magical Moment 617, "Joy and Scoop"

My dog Joy found Scoop. Scoop is the cuddly polar bear who was much too adorable to put away after Christmas was over 3 months ago. Named for his remarkable resemblance to a round scoop of vanilla ice cream, he makes his way from sofa, to floor, to shelf, to bedroom. I just couldn't bear to put him into a box in the basement. Can you blame me?

Joy has stuffed toys, she chews on them, fetches them, and shakes them from side to side in her mouth. But she knows Scoop is not that kind of toy. And she found a good use for him.

*Contented sigh*

"Yes?"

"Goodnight."

Oh, Elizabeth, these are just wonderful...not only because of the cuteness factor but because of the excellent quality of the photographs themselves.

Fun photos Elizabeth. Our big buffalo dog will drag one of the kid's stuffed animal pillows onto the floor so he can nap on it.

Those dogs are always entertaining.

These are great photos, Elizabeth and so sweet that Joy has this little friend. Tomorrow, she's going to teach Scoop how to run in circles around a tree! ;)

Very sweet... We all need comfort like that, don't we?

Oh that is the sweetest thing!
On our last trip to the Goodwill store, we noticed a couple buying several stuffed animals. The stuffed toys don't usually look very appealing and we wondered why this couple would buy them...until we saw them at their car with a dog waiting inside. He got the toys! : )

Great shots Elizabeth. And they bring back fond memories of the Sheltie we had a number of years ago. Instead of a stuffed toy, she had a real live Samoyed to play with that allowed itself to be 'wrestled' to the ground - they got along famously.

Looks like Joy has a willing companion !
