Magical Moment 602, "In My Hand"

Today was another milestone in this year and a half long journey to record an album of my very own. The first hard copies were completed!

I had listened to the finished digital recordings hundreds of times on my iPod, but today was the first time I could put a tangible, physical version into my CD player and listen the whole way through. I must say, it was an incredible feeling! The release date is set for April 10th. Until then, you can hear a few samples on my website,

Elizabeth- just went over to your website to listen to beautiful music. :)

How exciting for you! Congratulations--must feel so good to hold that CD in your hand, such hard work, determination and love packed into a thin but mighty disc!

(Btw- my father-in-law used to own the Bernards Inn. So lovely there. Enjoy!)

Oh, I would LOVE to hear this, Elizabeth. Congratulations on staying with the process. I have two musical projects longer-term. But this inspires me to keep them at close reach! :)

Yay! I really like your cover and CD design too.
My daughter and I were just talking about MP3 vs. actual CD last week. We both agree that NP3 is great if you just can't wait to hear something, but we're old school as far as enjoying ownership of an actual CD, in a case, to slide into the CD player.
Congratulations on all your hard work and love of music coming to fruition.
